Google has recently launched a new service – Google Latitude, directly available with Google Maps. It allows you to see the locations and status messages of your friends on your computer, mobile phone, or both. Latitude is now available on Android, Symbian S60, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile and will be available in iPhone soon.

With Google Latitude, you can:
- See where your friends are and what they are doing
- Contact them instantly with SMS, IM, or a phone call
- Get directions to lead you to them
- Share, set, or hide your location and have complete control over your privacy

To try Latitude, go to www.google.com/latitude from your computer or mobile phone.
