The newly unveiled iPhone 3 G S comes with a 600 MHz processor which performs all the functions at a speed double that of its predecessor. It now has a 3-MP camera with auto- focus feature and videos can be shot at 30 fps. You can also tap to change the focus to the object of your choice. Also, iPhone 3G S has better battery life and can last for 9 hours of internet and 30 hours of music. It includes a digital compass and has map integration which gives turn to turn directions. It also has data encryption and music playback with iTunes.

The iPhone 3G S comes with an updated operating system, iPhone OS 3.0 , which includes the long awaited cut, copy & paste feature, MMS, landscape keyboard, spotlight search, etc . It also has voice control which can be used for calling or queuing up music in iTunes according to artists, etc.

The iPhone 3G S will come with 2 different memory capacities, 16GB ($199) and 32GB ($299). And the good news is they are offering the iPhone 3G at just $99.

P/S: Maxis brought iPhone 3G into Malaysia alsmot 9 months after the launch of iPhone 3G. Not more than 3 months, here comes the newly updated version – iPhone 3G S. Hmm, this is a big mistake to Apple and Maxis.
